I started in video production at Louisville news stations, moved into marketing, and eventually realized I liked building the tools more than using them.
Now I run a handful of small businesses out of Louisville. I work alone, decide what to build, ship it, and answer my own support email. The work spans different industries and surfaces, but the rules are the same — one person, no middlemen, nothing I’m not willing to put my name on.
One of those things is the case management system that runs about 98% of adoptions in Kentucky and Tennessee. The current rundown of everything else lives on the work page.
I live in Louisville with my wife and two daughters.

I build because there’s nothing like making something from nothing that actually works for a real person. I do it for the freedom to work on my own terms, to be present for my kids, and to build systems that grow while I sleep. Not because I have to. Because I get to.
Mission
To build things that actually work for real people doing real work, with no fluff, no middlemen, and nothing I’m not willing to put my name on.
The vowels. Plus the “and sometimes Y.”
You're the same person in every room. No performance, no fake morale, no manufactured enthusiasm for someone else's scoreboard.
Ideas are cute. Execution gets paid. You finish what you start and ship what you build.
You do right by the work regardless of who is watching, because it has your name on it.
Give you real stakes and you go all in. Make you a cog and you check out. Autonomy produces care.
You try to understand where someone actually is before you build, decide, or respond.
You never build anything without knowing why it matters, to you and to the person it is for.
What I work with day to day
The short version of how I got here
Building my own products. Scriptal is an AI-powered transcript intelligence platform. TranscriptExporter is a suite of Chrome extensions for Fathom, Fireflies, and Zoom with 871 licenses sold.
Went all-in on my own web development company in August 2025. Started as GOAT502 Media in 2021 as a side hustle while working full-time, doing a handful of jobs a year. Now it's the main thing. Modern builds with Next.js, Payload CMS, and Vercel.
Ongoing contract work for the agency where I previously served as Director. Handle technical projects, automation systems, and website development on a flexible schedule while focusing on my own products.
Started as Creative Director making ad content for 200+ insurance agents. Got promoted to run all the tech systems. Built automation that cut a 2-week production process down to 2 hours. Launched a "Website in a Week" product and delivered 40+ sites.
Ran all communications for a church: website, app, social media, live streaming, video, graphics, podcasts, newsletters, and print. Built out their live streaming setup during COVID and managed a team of volunteers.
Shoot and edit videos for all kinds of clients. Handle everything from filming to final delivery. Built my reputation through word-of-mouth and repeat customers.
Started my career editing video for Louisville news stations. Learned how to work fast, hit deadlines, and solve problems on the fly.
What I do when I'm not building products
My wife and two daughters. They're the reason I do any of this.
I play guitar and always have something playing in the background while I work.
I'm always tinkering with something. Half my projects start as "what if I just tried this real quick."
I have 5 acres and love mowing the grass. It's therapeutic and gives me time to listen to audiobooks.
I'm always happy to chat about products, projects, or ideas. Drop me a line anytime.
