Chrome extension for bulk exporting Fireflies.ai meeting transcripts. Download hundreds of transcripts in minutes instead of clicking through each one manually.
After building TranscriptExporter for Fathom, I saw the same problem existed for Fireflies.ai users. Fireflies is another popular meeting recording tool, and just like Fathom, it had no native bulk export feature. Users with hundreds of meetings had to download transcripts one at a time.
I adapted the TranscriptExporter concept for Fireflies, building a Chrome extension that integrates with their web interface. The extension detects your Fireflies meetings and lets you select which ones to export, with filtering by date range and keyword search.
The technical approach is different from the Fathom version since Fireflies doesn't have the same API access. The extension works by automating the export process through the web interface, handling pagination and rate limiting to avoid overwhelming their servers.
Exports come as individual TXT files or a combined ZIP archive. Each transcript includes the meeting title, date, participants, and full transcript text. The extension handles the authentication through your existing Fireflies session, so there's no separate login required.
